Affiliate Disclosure

Plain-language version: some links here earn us a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you, and that never changes what we write.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on TireBase are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.

We participate, or intend to participate, in affiliate programmes that may include the Amazon Associates Programme and various tire and automotive-parts retailer programmes. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Where we join additional programmes we will keep this page current.

Display advertising

We display third-party advertising, which may include Google AdSense and other ad networks. These networks and their partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. How that data is handled is described in our privacy policy, which also explains your choices.

Our commitment

What the money does and does not affect
  • It does not affect our recommendations. We describe products by their specifications and suitability, not by commission rate.
  • It does not affect our facts. Editorial content is researched and written independently of any commercial relationship.
  • It does keep the site free. Advertising and affiliate income are what let us publish without a paywall or a signup wall.

If we ever recommend a specific product, it is because we believe it genuinely fits the use case described — and we will always tell you the specification reasoning, so you can judge for yourself or choose a competing product that meets the same spec.
