Information we collect
Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us, we collect the email address and any message you provide. That is the only personal information we deliberately collect, and only when you volunteer it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and any analytics we use may log standard technical data — IP address, browser type, device, referring page and pages visited — to keep the site secure and understand aggregate usage.
Calculator inputs. The values you type into our size, pressure, DOT and tread tools are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site function, to remember preferences such as light or dark mode (stored locally on your device), and for advertising and analytics.
We may use Google AdSense and other third-party ad networks. These vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits here and elsewhere on the internet.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Children
TireBase is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Data retention and security
We keep volunteered information (such as newsletter emails) only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it, and take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as the site and applicable law evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
